Recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that COVID-19 is causing, IPAC’s highest priority is the health and well being of its members. As the pandemic continues to evolve, IPAC is taking action to respond and support its members during these unprecedented times. 

After careful considerations and with guidance from public health authorities, IPAC has made the decision to postpone the IPAC New Professionals Workshop scheduled to be held March 31, 2020 at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. A new date and details will be communicated to shortly. All registrations will be honored for the new date and refunds can be provided if preferred. 

The Public Sector Ethics Conference scheduled to take place May 21-22, 2020 in Toronto, Ontario has also been cancelled and rescheduled to May 27-28, 2021. All registrations will be honoured for the new date and refunds can be provided if preferred. 

IPAC is monitoring closely all developments related to COVID-19 outbreak and the impact it could have on the IPAC Annual Conference scheduled to take place in Ottawa-Gatineau August 16-19, 2020. As of now, the event remains scheduled as planned. IPAC will continue to update its members when deemed appropriate and necessary in a measured and practical way. 

In the face of uncertainty, IPAC is dedicated now, more than ever to continue to support its members by putting efforts in developing initiatives that will be of value to you in the days and weeks to come. 

We are stronger together and now is a time to lean on your IPAC community and learn from each other. We are encouraging you to stay in touch with IPAC members during these times.
