2020-2021 CALL FOR PAPERS
Graduate students, do you have fresh ideas for improving the federal public service and service excellence for Canadians? Are you ready to contribute your ideas? The National Student Paper Competition is your chance to be heard by some of the most senior leaders within the Federal Public Service!
If your paper advances to the finals, it will be posted on IPAC website, and the top five students will present their work to a panel of Deputy Ministers. This stage of the Competition offers your work a prestigious profile and makes it accessible to both public servants and the broader public.
The Grand Prize winner will receive an offer of paid work placement within the federal public service, a certificate of achievement from the President of Canada School of Public Service, and an invitation to attend and present at the Manion Lecture or another applicable keystone event in the National Capital Region (the round-trip travel costs will be reimbursed, if applicable).
If you are a student enrolled in a university Masters or PhD program which is based in Canada, please read the guidelines and submit a paper to your university coordinator on or before the deadline. Papers can be newly written for the competition or an adapted version of one your previous original work. The details of the submission guidelines and the assessment criteria can be found in the Competition guidelines.
