Due to the retirement of the incumbent, the City of Windsor is seeking a new Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to provide strategic and inclusive leadership during a period of change and growth.

The CAO is responsible to City Council for the management of all human, financial and physical resources of the City while providing strategic guidance and advice for the effective delivery and ongoing improvement of programs and services to the residents of Windsor. By providing team leadership and proactive direction to all City Departments, the CAO ensures strong integration of departmental activities in the execution of policies and programs approved by Council, and in the overall management of all of the City’s affairs.

As an ideal candidate, you are a highly respected leader with a university degree and a minimum of ten years of progressively senior experience gained in a municipal setting or similarly complex, unionized public environment. The City will benefit from your strong business and financial acumen and your demonstrated experience providing strategic counsel while inspiring and motivating staff during a period of change.
