Job Description

Supply Ontario is a new provincial agency with an ambitious mandate to transform and modernize the province’s public sector supply chain management system.

Supply Ontario’s vision is to build world-class capability that harnesses Ontario’s buying power to enable economic development, province-wide resilience and value for Ontarians. We are currently establishing our initial operations, building our foundational infrastructure and planning for how the agency can best provide services.

When operational, as the procurement commercial face for government, Supply Ontario will work across the system to build an integrated, efficient and strategic supply chain that benefits our economy, businesses, customers and Ontarians.

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will be accountable for the strategic direction and priorities for financial, human resources and information technology and for providing overall leadership for all related functions including the planning, development and management of corporate services frameworks, programs, policies and services. The CAO sets strategy and priorities for all corporate services functions in alignment with the overall strategy and directions of Supply Ontario and the diverse corporate services needs across the organization, including all functions related to financial, human resources and information technology.

You have extensive senior level experience with a demonstrated track record of corporate services leadership within a large and complex environment, overseeing multiple functional portfolios.

You have led measured administrative change initiatives and bring broad experience in various functional leadership roles. You have earned respect through your understanding of organizational structure and process, combined with sound strategic and operational skills. You possess a proven ability to lead a variety of administrative functions including all areas of human resources, finance, facilities, and information technology. Finally, you exhibit energy and enthusiasm for the mandate, have a reputation for openness and integrity and a passion for delivering results.
