The Opportunity: General Manager, Corporate Services
The General Manager, Corporate Services is accountable to the Chief Administrative Officer and Council for the planning, organization, and direction of the Corporate Services Division, which currently includes Finance, Information Technology, Police Support Services, and Emergency Management. The incumbent acts as a City Financial Signing Officer and as approval authority for administrative policies within the scope of Corporate Services.

The General Manager, Corporate Services is a member of the City’s Senior Leadership Team. In this role, the incumbent provides strategic leadership and collaborates on corporate policy, ensuring consistency across the organization, participating in the overall planning, administration, and management of the City.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience: 
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (e.g. Finance, Business Administration or Public Administration), and 10 years’ progressively responsible related experience, including 5 years in a senior management    capacity;
A Master’s Degree in a related discipline and certification or training in local government administration would be an asset;
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
