With a heavy influx of business being conducted by this company, we are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to join their dedicated team of professionals in Northern Canada.
The Facilities Maintenance Manager will develop, implement, and monitor a proactive preventative maintenance program, as well as review quality control, maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities to investigate physical plant deficiencies and equipment malfunctions and take the appropriate corrective action. Reporting to the Associate Services Director, the Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the physical mechanical, electrical, electronic, plumbing and building fabric systems/equipment and grounds keeping on site. S/he will facilitate clear, effective and timely communication and documentation with a genuine and authentic approach.
We seek a candidate who is a progressive leader who is committed to establishing, maintaining, and demonstrating their devotion to health and safety requirements in a positive and proactive manner. The ability to do so may be demonstrated through a minimum of 5 years’ experience and knowledge with managing life safety, building envelope, and HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems. Previous Public Private Partnership (P3) experience would be considered an asset. The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic, a positive attitude and possess superb communication skills.
