(Reports to Board of Directors)

Senior professional with a proven track record of leading a diverse not-for-profit, service organization. 
Acts as a strategic leader for the operations, including funding, financial management, human resources and stakeholder relations. 
As a visionary, the Executive Director is directly responsible for the overall performance of the Association, the success of its operations and the strategic plan as prepared by the board. 
Oversees the implementation of the strategic plan, creation of funding sources, program planning and development planning, and budget management. 
Experience working with and guiding voluntary board of directors as well as leading the staff complement. 
Experience leading high performing teams in a hybrid of office and home / remote work locations.
Acts as liaison between operational association activities and the Board of Directors, providing strategic recommendations on financial and association business issues. 
Communicates with all stakeholders to keep them informed of the work of the organization and to identify changes in the landscape served by the organization. 
Establishes good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with members, community groups, funders, partners, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization. 
Fosters and maintains relationships with other non-profit agencies, funders, various levels of government, business leaders and community stakeholders. 
Identifies and evaluates the risks to the organization's people (members, staff, and committees), property, finances, goodwill, and image and implement measures to control risks. 
Manages agency operational and capital budgets ensuring that monthly and annual financial reporting is completed on time and with sufficient detail.

QUALIFICATIONS: *Candidates must have Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent in education and experience. The successful candidate will have experience developing and implementing work plans and budgets and a proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom, Microsoft TEAMS and working with databases. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Must be able to be flexible.
