Dalhousie University is seeking a new Dean, College of Continuing Education to provide inspiration and leadership to students, faculty, and staff, while promoting the College as a hub of lifelong learning. The Dean will implement a new strategic plan and vision, steer the activities of the College, maintain and create innovative programs, and develop faculty and staff, all with attention to issues of equity, diversity and inclusion. External relationships are key to the College, and the Dean will build and maintain strong and productive partnerships with community groups, industry, all levels of government, and other universities and colleges. Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President Academic, the Dean plays a crucial role in maintaining the standards, integrity, effectiveness and efficiency of the academic enterprise, contributing to fundraising efforts, aligning the financial operations of the College with its academic mission, and fostering a collegial and respectful environment.
