The Opportunity: Director of Corporate Services/ CFO
The Director of Corporate Services/CFO provides strategic professional advice to the Mayor, Council, and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) in a variety of corporate, community and financial areas. Under the general direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the Director/CFO leads a Corporate Services team that delivers services to a broad range of internal departments and external stakeholders. Key areas include financial services, information technology, communications and community services, corporate performance management, human resources coordination, and special projects.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience: 
University degree in Business or Public Administration, Commerce, or a related field;
Professional accounting designation;
Extensive experience (i.e. seven years or more) in financial management, business services or corporate services, preferably in a municipal or regional district setting;
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and facilitate collaboration with Council, staff, and other stakeholders;
Extensive project management skills and ability to lead complex projects through multi‐functional teams;
