We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Faculty Governance and Policy to work in the Office of the Dean with the School of Arts, Media, Performance and Design for this exciting opportunity.
Are you a professional with Management experience in an academic environment? Do you possess at least 3 years of experience in the field of Governance and Policy, including interpreting complex procedures and guidelines? In this role, you will execute four primary responsibilities; Labour Relations Advising & Coordinating; Management of Faculty Governance & Policy; Management of School of the Arts, Media, Performance and Design (AMPD) curriculum; as well as functioning as a Liaison to the Office of Advising & Integrated Student Services.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
A University Degree in Public Administration (or similar area of specialization) or at least 2 years of related experience, in addition to the required experience listed. In addition, the successful incumbent will possess 3 years recent related experience (legislative, committee administration, interpreting complex procedures or guidelines, handling a broad range of detailed enquiries) preferably in a post-secondary academic environment.
