It is adjacent to the Town of Blind River situated along the North Shore of Lake Huron and has a staff of 97 full and part-time employees within all of its service departments and a member population of 1,120 with approximately 450 members living on-reserve.

About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Social Services Manager
to join our team in Mississauga First Nation
on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Health and Social Services Director, the Social Services Manager will be responsible for ensuring Mississauga First Nation's socially driven programs and services meet the community needs in a planned and coordinated manner.
More specifically, you will assist in the supervision of social service staff through established accountability mechanisms of the Health and Social Services Unit.
In order to qualify for this role, you will have a Degree/Post Secondary Diploma in Health, Human Services, or Public/Administration
plus a minimum of 3 years experience with a First Nation or Aboriginal organization
in the area of health or social services or indirect First Nations development work.
