Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister Family and Community Resiliency, you will provide strategic leadership and direction in delivering early childhood development, early intervention and prevention programs, services, initiatives and projects delivered through five regions across the province. Your advanced relationship building skills will ensure effective, open, consultative partnerships with public and private sector organizations, clients and stakeholders in meeting the child care and early intervention and prevention program needs of children and families. As Statutory Director you will ensure that legislation and regulations are upheld in child care centres and day homes for the safety and well-being of children. Other programs include child care subsidies to ensure parent’s child care needs are financially supported.
Your background includes significant senior management experience leading operational delivery. You have a thorough knowledge of early childhood development, early intervention and prevention programs. You have exceptional ability to build successful consensus, working relationships and partnerships with diverse stakeholders and proven strengths in leading and mentoring staff, managing complex initiatives, business planning, project management and providing advice to senior executives. A related degree is preferred. This Executive Management position offers a salary range of $125,318 - $164,691 ($4,801.47 - $6,310.03 bi-weekly).
