I am a seasoned public policy professional with 8+ years of leadership and management experience in both the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and non-profit organizations. I am committed to service excellence and have a track record in leading strategy, change and policy and program development to achieve client-centred, outcome-focused service delivery. Along with my role in the OPS and being on the board of the Institute of Public Administration in Canada (IPAC), I am the Chair of the York University School of Public Policy and Administration Alumni Network (YUSPPAAN). In addition, I have completed a Master of Public Policy, Administration and Law from York University and a Graduate Diploma in Justice System Administration and Certificate in Professional Ethics and have received several awards: York University School of Public Policy and Administration Emerging Leader Award, 2017 and Alumni Recognition Award, 2019.
I have chosen to be a volunteer because I want to be part of the conversation! Being an active participant in leading professional organizations helps support excellence in Canada’s public sector. I want to enhance and broaden the public policy discourse through encouraging participation from the new professionals’ community.
