Frequently Asked Questions

Below are answers to the most common questions we receive during this training series. With thousands of participants, we are unable to respond individually to all emails. Please review these before submitting a support request.

Important: This page is for Navigating AI: The Age of the Agent for Public Service. Session materials and recordings will be posted at ipac.ca/aiagents26.

Where can I access session recordings and resources?

All resources and recordings for this series will be available at ipac.ca/aiagents26.

Do I need to attend all sessions?

Yes, to receive a certificate of completion, you must complete all sessions in the series. Recordings will be available and count toward completion.

Which email address will be used to track my attendance?

IPAC will use the email address listed on your IPAC account to verify attendance and completion. If this email address needs to be changed, please update it directly in your IPAC account.

What time does the session start in my time zone?

All sessions take place in Eastern Time (ET). There are no separate sessions for different time zones. Please convert the start time to your local time before joining.

I did not receive the Microsoft Teams link. Can IPAC resend it?

The Teams link is sent in your registration confirmation and reminder emails.

Before contacting us, please:

  • Check your spam or junk folders.
  • Search for “IPAC” or “Microsoft Teams.”
  • Ensure emails from the ipac.ca domain are not being blocked.

Due to participant volume, we cannot manually resend links to every participant.

Do I need to register for each session separately?

No. Registration covers the entire training series. You do not need to register for each session individually.

Will the sessions be recorded?

Yes. Sessions will be recorded and posted at ipac.ca/aiagents26 once available.

Watching recordings counts toward certificate completion, provided you follow the completion instructions listed on the resource page.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes. A certificate of completion will be issued to participants who complete the full series, either live or by watching the recordings.

Completion will be verified using the email address connected to your IPAC account. Please ensure your IPAC account email is correct.

Certificates are issued by email via Certifier.io after participation has been verified.

I watched the recordings but could not attend live. Am I still eligible for the certificate?

Yes. Live attendance is not required. Watching the recordings counts toward completion, as long as you complete all required sessions and follow the instructions on the resource page.

Can IPAC confirm my certificate status before certificates are sent?

Generally, no. Completion is verified after the series and/or recording deadline has passed. Due to participant volume, IPAC is not able to confirm individual certificate status before verification is complete.

I cannot join the session because of my work firewall or browser restrictions.

Some government networks block Microsoft Teams external events. If you cannot join:

  • Use a personal device such as a laptop, phone, or tablet.
  • Switch to a personal Wi-Fi/network.
  • Try the Microsoft Teams app instead of your browser.

These steps resolve most access issues quickly.

Will the slides be available?

Yes. Slides and available session materials will be posted on the resource page along with the recordings.

How can I ask a question during the session?

Please use the Microsoft Teams Q&A/chat feature to submit questions. Due to time limits and participant volume, not all questions may be answered live.

Do I need special software to participate?

No additional software is required. Microsoft Teams will open in your browser, but joining through the Teams app may offer a smoother experience.

Please test your connection before the session.
