Join Paul ‘t Hart, one of the world’s leading experts on crisis management, as he presents 10 reflections on the strategic leadership challenges of tackling the Covid 19 catastrophe. Paul 't Hart is a professor of Public Administration at Utrecht University and Associate Dean of the Netherlands School of Public Administration (NSOB) in The Hague, and formerly held professorships at Leiden University, the Swedish Defence College and the Australian National University. He is considered a pioneer of the interdisciplinary field of crisis management studies. His co-authored, prize-winning The Politics of Crisis Management: Public Leadership Under Pressure has sold over 13.000 copies and is used world-wide as both an academic and executive teaching resource.  He has spoken for, taught and trained thousands of public servants from early-career right up to senior executive levels in the Netherlands, Australia and Sweden on issues of public leadership, public policymaking and crisis management. He has also been a consultant to numerous government entities in these three countries. His current research is on successful public governance. As part of that he is currently working with 4 leading Canadian public policy scholars to produce a volume of casestudies of great successes in Canadian public policy.
