One year into the pandemic it’s clear that working-from-home will continue to play a role in the public service for the foreseeable future. While much of the current discourse has centred around logistics and policies, the past 12 months have raised a number of pressing questions about how we work together in a virtual environment.

What will be the lasting impact of widespread remote work? How will we establish and maintain the interpersonal relationships from our basements and spare rooms? Will working remotely impact career progression as colleagues begin to return to the office? What about coaching and performance management? How will we replace the office ‘water cooler’?
