IPAC National Capital Region to Support a New Professional to Attend Annual Conference in Quebec City

Calling all New Professionals!!!

2005 IPAC Conference

Overview…

In recognition of the impending demographic shifts that will affect levels of government in Canada, IPAC has developed a forum that addresses issues related to new professionals in the public service.  It is called the New Professionals Program (NPP).  The goal of the NPP is to involve new professionals in current public policy and management debates that will affect the future of public service in Canada.  The NPP will also provide learning, developmental and networking opportunities through programs and events delivered through the regional groups.

The National Capital Regional (NCR) Group’s New Professional Committee organizes roundtable and networking events that bring new professionals from different levels of government to discuss common issues.  The goal of the group is to give new professionals the opportunity to speak their minds on a number of pertinent issues that affect them and their workplace.  Moreover, it provides a vehicle for those who are interested to participate in the planning of events and learn more about IPAC.

Get Involved…

IPAC-NCR is committed to the continued development of its New Professionals Program. There are a wide variety of roles available for those IPAC-NCR members who would like to help out. If you are interested in this type of activity, please contact Clinton Lawrence-Whyte.
