Bio
Katy Lalonde is the Assistant Deputy Minister of Digital Innovation and Product with the Government of Ontario. She supports teams that are building an ecosystem of digital products that make it easier for people and business to interact with the Government of Ontario, including Ontario.ca, Notify and the province’s Data Catalogue.
Katy was a founding member of the Ontario Digital Service and has previously held the roles of Director of Product, Director of Digital Policy, and Executive Advisor to the Deputy Minister/ Chief Digital and Data Officer. Her expertise is in digital and product strategy, in the leadership and operations of digital organizations inside government, and in organizational design to support empowered, multi-disciplinary teams.
