John McGowan is the 2011 recipient of the IPAC Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration in Alberta. The award was presented by His Honour, Colonel (Retired) the Honourable Donald S. Ethell, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta during a ceremony at Government House in Edmonton on December 8, 2011.
