As part of the Intergovernmental Affairs Division of Executive Council, the Protocol Office is responsible for the planning and coordination of official visits, symbols, and the Saskatchewan Honours and Awards Program.  The Chief of Protocol will play a key leadership role in the strategic planning, policy development, legislation and operations for the Office.

As the Chief of Protocol, you will provide management and direction to ensure Saskatchewan remains in the forefront of new and emerging trends in protocol and international relations.  In fostering national relationships and partnerships, you will actively work with federal partners, foreign missions and the provincial Cabinet. 

To be successful in this position, you will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and will have strong public policy and strategic skills.  Financial management and international and diplomatic relations experience will also be critical.
