You will contribute strategic leadership and direction on policies, programs and supports to provide Albertans with enhanced access to the courts (Court of Appeal, Court of Queen’s Bench, and Provincial Court of Alberta), other dispute resolution processes, and justice related services. Overseeing significant resources and the business functions for more than 70 courts located across the province, you will work with the Judiciary, partners and stakeholders to deliver efficient, effective and timely justice services. A member of the department executive leadership team, you will contribute to the planning and implementation of the ministry’s key initiatives and further the corporate agenda of government.
Ideally, your background includes extensive related senior management experience with in-depth knowledge of the justice system and issues affecting court services. You are recognized for your strategic planning and leadership in managing large and complex systems involving diverse stakeholders. Analytical and communication strengths along with an ability to build collaborative relationships and influence policy decisions are essential. A degree in a related field is desirable. This Executive Manager position offers a salary range of $141,324 - $185,472 ($5,414.72 - $7,106.21 bi-weekly). Final candidates will be required to undergo a security screening.
