Bloor/Yorkville - high end shopping, star gazing

Cabbagetown - Former Irish and Macedonian neighbourhood.  Named after the cabbages they grew in their front yards.  Old Victorian houses, pubs, Riverdale Farm.  Great for a self-guided walk.

Chinatown - great food, exotic fruits and vegetables, interesting shops, bargains galore!

Distillery Historic District - A pedestrian-only arts and culture district sprung up in a well preserved Victorian industrial neighbourhood. Bursting with pubs, galleries, boutiques, theatres.

Entertainment District - Toronto's entertainment hub featuring the Princess of Whales and Royal Alexandria Theatre, and the CBC headquarters.  Bursting at the seams with restuarants and clubs for a great night on the town!

Financial District - Includes the sky scrapers of Bay Street, the Design Exchange (DX), and the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Greektown (The Danforth) - traditional Greek neighbourhood with great food, boutiques and lots of character.

Kensington Market - fresh fruit and vegetables, bohemian shops, independent coffee shops, around the corner from Chinatown.

Koreatown - traditional Korean food, walnut cakes, for the more adventurous diner.

Little India - authentic Indian buffets, traditional jewlery stores and clothing shops.

Little Italy - great restaurants, unique shops, fun night on the town.

Queen Street West - Much Music, funky stores, Toronto City Hall, skating in Nathan Phillips Square.

Saint Lawrence Market in the Esplanade - largely considered to be one of the world's top 10 markets.

The Gay Village - Home to one of the world's largest Gay Pride Parades.  Theatres, pubs, restaurants, amazing nightlife.  Home to Toronto's oldest and magnificent churches.

Bloor West Village and High Park - shishi boutiques, amazing bakeries.

Annex District - Boasts such attractions as the Royal Ontario Museum, the Bata Shoe Museum, the newly expanded Gardiner Museum, Honest Ed's, and Mirvish Village.

Roncesvalles - old Ukranian district with traditional baked goods, coffee shops with character, Ukranian/Russian goods.
