Public-Sector Financial Management Advisor based in Mali
The Institute of Pulic Administration of Canada (IPAC) is inviting interest from individuals with senior public sector financial management expertise for a potential opportunity to serve as a Public-Sector Financial Management Advisor based in Mali for three years.
The Government of Mali has initiated a program to strengthen the efficiency, transparency, and reliability of public sector financial management. The five strategic areas of focus include:
1) Improving the quality of budget planning and execution
2) Developing the efficiency of tax and financial administrations
3) Incorporating external financing in national budget procedures
4) Strengthening the efficiency and transparency of government contracting procedures
5) Strengthening governance and increasing transparency
