Ideas and Debates
There are a number of keenly disputed issues in the debates over governance dialogue. Here's a few of them:
- the roles of officials and experts in dealing with the public
- the grounds for legitimacy in deliberative democracy approaches
- the pros and cons of partnerships as vehicles for public participation
- the challenges in dealing with conflicting interests and values
The theoretical toolkit addresses these and many other such difficult issues.
