IPAC Calgary Regional Group Team Award


Congratulations to the Chess for Life Program,

A collaboration of the Ministries of Justice and Solicitor General, the Judiciary and University of Lethbridge. In this program, youth involved with alternative criminal sentencing are involved with learning to view their life choices while learning chess, as represented through their experiences.

Given the conditions caused by COVID-19, no call for nominations will occur until Spring 2021.

 

Award Criteria:


  • Must recognize a team (comprised of 3 or more members) 
  • Must be currently employed by public service (Federal, Provincial, Municipal or related agencies, boards and commissions) 
  • Must work for a public sector organization based in the province and in Southern Alberta
  • Open to a team comprised of any roles, regardless of level of responsibility or level within the organization 
  • Nominees and nominators MAY NOT be members of the Boards of IPAC National or Calgary Regional Group
  • Nominations must include the team's CV or resume (max of 3 pages) and a narrative detailing how the team collectively completed a project or initiative that has advanced the public service in demonstrating one or more of the recognition criteria noted below (max of 4 pages)
